"Upon this Rock We Give"
We and our partnering vendors, contractors and even competitors to provide some much needed help to those who have great ideas for improving buildings, homes, schools and community gardens that benefit charitable causes for both private and public groups. At this time our resources for this are in primarily in California, in some cases we can reach beyond here.
To find if we can help you or your organization please submit a proposal with the information of who you are and who the project intended to help. Please provide a basic description of the project and if you can a sketch or plan of the project. Finally, a list of materials or service you need us to help with. We will do our best to help.
Upon This Rock We Give is derived from Mathew 16:18....Jesus says to his apostle Peter "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church".......Rock is also a vital metaphor in the Holy Quran......Barren Rocks Versus Fertile Gardens: Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:265 “….And the likeness of those who expend their wealth, seeking God’s good pleasure [believers], while they are certain that God will reward them, is as the likeness of a garden on a height: heavy rain falls on it, and thereupon it doubles its yield of harvest; and if it does not receive heavy rain, soft rain suffices it. And God sees all that you do. ”...........Thus the name of the charitable cause fits as firm and strong as any cornerstone could possibly be.
