These Curacao Blue Rocks and Boulders are as cool blue in color and exotic looking like a tall cold cocktail glass of Blue Lagoon, Blue Hawaiian, Sex In The Driveway, Deep Blue Sea, or other iced blue adult refreshments. Even a hot summer day feels cooler in the garden of these rock-hard ice cubes. Add a little dazzle or a lot of bling to your landscape with Curacao Blue Rock, from a few inches to a few feet in size.
Curacoa Blue Rocks and Boulders are among North America's most unique landscape boulders. Hard rock coated with bold striking blue and turquoise color patina patterns resulting from the high copper mineral content in this rock. The color comes from copper elements in the rock being exposed to air and water. The blue color will often intensify over time. This material should not be used in water features where important fish like Koi are being raised or viewed.
After sunset, night falls on a garden. This is the perfect time to create a mystical atmosphere in an outdoor space, to setting this atmosphere, place Kino blue boulders in a grouping and set some light that directly reflects from these boulders and enhances the look.
Tons vs. Yards and Square Feet.
In most cases, we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very inaccurate amounts in the trucks. Amounts depend on the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up, and who was supervising the loading of the truck. Scale House totals don't lie, so why take a chance on losing money and time with how many square feet, scoops, skips, and or dumps were made in loading the truck?
Architects, public agencies, contractors, and owner-builders requiring a competitive bid for the materials and transport costs should E-mail us with material specifications, the amount and date needed, and the buyer's contact information. We typically employ trucks with carrying capacities ranging from 17 to 26.5 tons.

Product Samples
California Building Material Supply believes that for most consumers and end users of these landscaping or building material products, the best location to view them is at the site where they will be used. This is particularly true for existing homes and commercial locations that are being renovated or re-landscaped. Samples of most materials can be delivered and evaluated by you on-site for you to make the most informed choice possible. Materials are sold per the specification of the stone type, product brand, and basic sizes.
Samples are shipped via United States Postal Service, Priority Mail. We can get about 16 pounds of material into a large flat-rate box. Samples are sent with an invoice on Net 10-Day Terms. When ordering your samples use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter SAMPLES. This will allow you to make a purchase without paying for the samples at that time.

Product Specifications and Uses
Curacao blue 36” - 48” is approximately 1000 pounds in weight. It can cover 1-2 sqft. Area per ton.
Boulders are wonderful accents for planter beds they can create natural edging or retaining walls, large boulders can create eye-catching statements as they sit in flower beds and rock gardens well.
Boulders, Stones, Cobble, and Rip Rap are effective in creating scale, color, and texture contrast in open landscapes, dry and wet creek features, waterfalls, ponds. Boulders, Stones, Cobble, and Rip Rap are also very effective at steering foot traffic away from primary plantings to prevent damage to plants and worn out sections of the landscape.
